PRODUCER'S STATEMENT
"Although SoCal Film usually aims at producing quality mainstream entertainment, we do sometimes venture into more experimental territory.
On REUNION, director Steve Smith hit upon the idea of shooting primarily with the PXL-2000, a camera made by Fisher-Price in the 80s that recorded video to audio tape. The grainy, highly pixelated look perfectly captured the disjointed, fading-away feel we needed for this story of lovers both torn apart and reunited by violent despair.
A fascinating experiment in both style and structure."
