SYNOPSIS
Is there only one person that we’re meant to be with? Our one true love? And if so, what happens if we don’t find that person? How do we know the person we’re with right now isn’t just a… dalliance until the real love of our life swoops in?

What if there were people behind the scenes that made our belief system come true?

What if these people, these regulators of reality, were the ones responsible for getting those who believe in destiny together?

And what if one of these regulators fell in love with a woman and prevented her from meeting the man of her dreams?

"With “Meant to Be,” I wanted to do a romantic comedy that challenged the idea that there just one person that we’re meant to be with. I really like the idea of people who worked behind-the-scenes to affect what happens in our lives. And my big “What if?” was what would happen if those people who work behind-the-scenes mess up or steal away the one and only person we were destined to be married to. Who would you end up falling in love with? "
