The Reporter offers reasons for demise of Veronica's co-stars.

SYNOPSIS
A famous but conceited actress finishes shooting very late at night. When she leaves the studio, she finds herself alone with no one around and a dead cell phone battery.

When a mysterious reporter approaches her and offers to help, he lets her know that she’s the only surviving member of her old television show – Malibu Heights. She discovers that her driver is missing and the reporter convinces her to come with him so that he can protect her.

The actress agrees to his help but she’s never convinced whether he’s there to help her or if he’s the one who’s been killing everyone who worked on her old show.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT

"Apprehension was a story that gave me a way to do a Hitchcock-type thriller with a bit of dark humor.

I have always been fascinated by stories of hearing how a dog or cat will run back into a burning building. People can be the same way – when under pressure, scared, or backed into a corner, some will run right into the face of danger and ignore common sense.

It was also great to poke fun at the shrill annoying young actors in those Beverly Hills 90210-type shows that seem to think they’re all little bit better than the rest of us."
